No one likes a shock, and I don’t want to waste your time (and make you feel uncomfortable) giving quotes that are waaaaay higher than you were expecting. Let’s keep it real, yeah?! 👍

Every job is different, so if you ask me to do a job or provide an estimate, I will provide a bespoke estimate/quote, which will include the various elements of the job, broken down transparently. BUT, in the meantime, if you want a basic idea of what some standard jobs might cost, here are a few examples (fees include labour and materials):

• Replace a single light switch: £23
• Replace a double plug socket with a new double socket with USB points: £40
• Change a double plug socket for a double socket with a built-in WiFi extender & 1 USB: £70
• Replace a ceiling downlight/spotlight: £37

Depending on where you are in Brighton, my minimum job fee is £25 labour (Hanover) / £40 labour (central Brighton) / £60 labour (rest of BN1/BN2/BN3) – see this page for info on these areas and where I work.
